3 DAY ETOSHA SAFARI

ACCOMMODATED OR CAMPING

Etosha National Park is one of the world’s greatest conservation areas. It is a sanctuary to large herds of animals typical to the African plains.

Covering 22,270km sq, Etosha stretches for about 300km from west to east and 110km from north to south at its widest point. An impressive collection of game include lion, leopard, elephant, white and black rhino, cheetah, giraffe and numerous species of antelope as well as over 340 species of birds.

ITINERARY:

Day 1: WINDHOEK TO ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK

Your tour guide will pick you up at your accommodation 08h30 and we will head north towards to Etosha National Park, “the great white place of dry water”, which offers a variety of wildlife. Our 2 nights in Etosha will be either at Okaukuejo or Halali (subject to animal movements), where a floodlit waterhole allows for 24-hour game viewing. Elephant and black rhinoceros are seen daily during the dry winter months and numerous other game species are also found here.

DAY 2: ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK GAME DRIVE

We undertake an early morning and later afternoon game drives through the park as we gaze in awe at the vast expanse of the Etosha Pan, itself shimmering in the midday heat. Ostrich appear like moving black dots as they wander around miles out on the salt pan. The afternoon we have time to relax at the swimming pool or view animals drinking water at the camps waterhole.

DAY 3: ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK TO WINDHOEK

We take an early morning game drive before departing back to Windhoek. Tour Ends...
