ITINERARY:
Day 1: WINDHOEK TO OTJIWARONGWE
Your tour guide will pick you up at your accommodation between 08h00 - 08h30 and we will head north towards the “cheetah capitol town” of Otjiwarongwe. Visiting the Cheetah Conservation Fund to learn more about understanding the cheetah's biology and ecology is essential to stabilise the population and manage its sustainability for the future.

DAY 2: OTJIWARONGWE TO ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast we head north to Etosha National Park, “the great white place of dry water”, which offers a variety of wildlife. Our 2 nights in Etosha will be either at Okaukuejo or Halali (subject to animal movements), where a floodlit waterhole allows for 24-hour game viewing. Elephant and black rhinoceros are seen daily during the dry winter months and numerous other game species are also found here.

(Lunch can be enjoyed at a coffee shop in the town of Outjo and dinner can be enjoyed at the restaurant in the National Park.)
DAY 3: ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK GAME DRIVE
We undertake an early morning and later afternoon game drives through the park as we gaze in awe at the vast expanse of the Etosha Pan, itself shimmering in the midday heat. Ostrich appear like moving black dots as they wander around miles out on the salt pan. The afternoon we have time to relax at the swimming pool or view animals drinking water at the campsite’s waterhole.

DAY 4: ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK TO KAMANJAB
After packing up camp, we have a short drive towards the exit gate of Etosha and head down through the towns of Outjo and Kamanjab. We set-up camp, before continuing on to find the Himba Tribesman, where we learn about the lives of these proud, semi-nomadic people. It is a fascinating glimpse into their culture and history.

DAY 5: KAMANJAB TO ABA HUAB
We head into one of Namibia’s most beautiful desert regions, Damaraland, visiting the Petrified Forest geological site and the ancient site of Twyfelfontein to see the Bushman paintings and rock engravings carved into the sandstone. It is a very interesting area, made even more spectacular by its amazing rock formations.

DAY 6: ABA HUAB TO SWAKOPMUND
Travelling through the Namib Desert we move into the Skeleton Coast and South Atlantic Ocean. We visit the seal colony at Cape Cross, where thousands of fur seals congregate on a rocky point. From here we continue down the coastal road to Swakopmund, nestling between the Namib Desert and the Atlantic Ocean. Late afternoon is free to explore.
ACCOMMODATION: Swakop Lodge or Similar.

(Lunch can be enjoyed at a coffee shop enroute to Swakopmund or at Swakopmund and dinner at lots of restaurants to choose from.)
DAY7: SWAKOPMUND TO WINDHOEK
Swakopmund is known as the Adventure capitol of Namibia, from sand boarding, quad biking, flights over the desert, skydiving, dolphin cruising or simply enjoying the sights of the town is just a few optional activities to do here. There is also a very good museum and an aquarium in town. Any activities are optional and paid locally. Leaving late afternoon we return to Windhoek, where our journey ends.
