ITINERARY:
Day 1: WINDHOEK TO ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK
Your Guide will pick you up in Windhoek and start your journey north to our first camp in Etosha National Park at either Okaukuejo or Halali, where both camps have a floodlit waterhole which allows for 24-hour game viewing. Elephant and black rhinoceros are seen daily during the dry winter months and numerous other game

DAY 2: ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK GAME DRIVE
We undertake an early morning and later afternoon game drives through the park as we gaze in awe at the vast expanse of the Etosha Pan, itself shimmering in the midday heat. Ostrich appear like moving black dots as they wander around miles out on the salt pan. The afternoon we have time to relax at the swimming pool or view animals drinking water at the campsite’s waterhole.

DAY 3: ETOSHA NATIONAL TO TSINTSABIS
We pack up camp and have a short game drive towards the exit gate of the Park. Our next campsite in the bush nearby the village of Tsintsabis, which is a community based and sustainable tourism project with a strong focus on the culture of the Bushman (San) people, the fist inhabitants of Southern Africa. The afternoon we will conduct a bushwalk to get a deeper understanding of the relationship that the Bushman people used to have (and still have sometimes) with nature. You will learn about edible, poisonous and medicinal plants see how they used to hunt animals, set up traps and made fire. The bushwalk is ideal for learning about the traditional way of life of the Bushmen. One guide takes you into the bush and explains about all these traditions.

DAY 4: TSINTSABIS TO DELTA PANHANDLE
After breakfast we head more norths towards the Kavango River, stopping in the dusty town of Rundu to stock up with fresh supplies. Our next camp is situated on the River; this is the panhandle of the Okavango Delta on the Namibian side. The afternoon you can relax, take a dip in the world’s only crocodile swimming cage or play some Frisbee golf.

DAY5: DELTA PANHANDLE
After breakfast you will have a whole day off exploring the Okavango Delta Panhandle on a Mokoro/Watu. The excursion takes place on the river and into the Bwabwata National Park on a mokoro which can seat two people. The Head Mokoro Poler will give you a detailed speech on safety and what to expect on your trip. You will be poled through the tranquil channels on the river. You will undertake a return game drive back to camp. Plenty of game, bird life as well a cultural experience to experience on this day.

DAY6: DELTA PANHANDLE TO KASANE
After breakfast we continue through the Caprivi Strip, stopping in the town of Katima Mulilo. We will cross the border over to Botswana heading to the town of Kasane which is the “gate way” to the famous Chobe National Park. Our camp is on the river bed of the Chobe River.

DAY 7: KASANE (CHOBE NATIONAL PARK)
Pre dawn wake up, with a quick coffee, before jumping on an open game drive vehicle which will take you into the Chobe National Park for a 2hour game drive, spotting big herds of elephants, lions, antelopes and lost more, before heading back to camp for brunch prepared by your guide. The rest of the day you can relax around the pool, before undertaking a 2hour sunset cruise on the Chobe River.

DAY 8: KASANE TO LIVINGSTONE
After a relaxing start and breakfast we will pack up and have short drive towards the ferry which will take you over to Zambia where a private transfer will drop you off at your accommodation in the capitol adventure town of Zambia, Livingstone. (If you have not made your own arrangements for accommodation in Livingstone, Mabaruli will be able to book either tented or room accommodation at the Zambezi Waterfront. SAFPAR the Optional Activity Booking Agent is also situated at the Waterfront.) TOUR ENDS
